I just discovered this afternoon that Shapeways is giving a 5 to 10% discount on WSF right now. Unfortunately, I found out after I had made a $200.00 order that was mixed WSF, Black acrylic, and Frosted detail (subs). When I started to refill my cart after the order I noticed a delayed shipping discount offer in the cart. I had about $100.00 of WSF models in the cart and the discount was about 4.7%. But when I added a Frosted Detail model (subs again) the discount offer in the cart disappeared. When I removed the FD from the cart the discount reappeared. Then I tried adding a Black acrylic model and the discount disappeared again. So then I started adding more WSF models to the cart and at $200.00 the discount had increased to 9.7%. I kept going and the discount disappeared again when the total got over $250.00.
So long story short, it you order only WSF you can get a discount of approximately 5 to 10% up to an order of $250.00 by selecting the "slow delivery" option in the cart.
There is no information about it on the Shapeway's site so I don't know when they will stop the offer. They have done this before. They only way to find out is put a WSF model in the cart and check the cart.
