Alright, put her in F6.

Rodney's slow is going to cost me the game, I think. I needed to contest that center objective THIS turn.

Albacore over center objective (suicide mission).

You ARE contesting the objective. You just can't claim it. I can't claim it either, if you have ships with sea control in adjacent sectors. So, unless I sink Rodney, Sheffield, and the Nizams adjacent, I won't be claiming the objective this turn.
Does that make you rethink your air mission? If so, feel free. If not, let me know.

Oh, I didn't remember the adjacent part.

Yeah, you can't claim an objective if there are enemy ships (not subs) in adjacent sectors (that have Sea Control, ie not PTs or auxes with no Sea Control, etc.).

I don't really know what I should do with the Albacore. Your AA is so strong that it has no real value to my fleet (what British torpedo bomber prior to '43 does?). I'll send it over the Trentos. That might go a bit better.

Honestly, Italian AA is mostly crap. Your plane is just pretty weak. I was surprised you didn't take a TBF-1... or something.
OK, I'll put a Spar in over Nizam 7/8.
The Fleet Air Arm didn't receive the TBF-1, or "Tarpon," as they called it, until early 1943 if I'm not mistaken. The year changes everything.
