i have a very large collection and many units number 30+. My justification is that I play, collect and design large multi-player scenarios that can require big numbers of infantry or armour. My last huge collection purchase may be my last since I didn't even sort it completely yet and have been expanding my Bolt Action collection too.
I'm starting to feel a little pressed by volume, as well. I have completed a couple of decent WAS and AAM purchases, which are crowding my work table, and then there are the metal miniatures: My trip to Wargames Foundry in Nottingham back in September resulted in two immediate shipments of 28mm material, and a third shipment arrived this week. Sort of an early Christmas present to myself. It includes Second World War German sentries and British Paratroopers. I foresee a Pegasus Bridge scenario in my future...

Pegasus Bridge should be fun. Do you play Bolt Action in 28mm?
Foolishly, I acquire miniatures before I acquire a system. I bought Rapid Fire quite a while ago, but never got into it. I know that Bolt Action has a lot of fans around here.

The extras/overages of units it appears many of us have, some more so than others, we can always claim they are Lend/Lease for the Allies & mutual cooperation among the Axis armies. I recall from the old forum that someone once posted a Lend/Lease list from the USA & UK to Russia, several of my multiples see use that way. If possible to find that information, perhaps it could be posted here somewhere for us collectors/hoarders....
Mark one up to the should have asked more questions category. I recently bought a mixed lot off of eBay and in one of the pictures was a large plastic bag of what appeared to PTRD's and some anti-tank guns. I asked the seller about the bag and he said he thought it only had "30-40" anti-tank type pieces and the rest of the bag had some vehicles and such.
I now have- x92 PTRD-41 x20 Bazooka X20 Entrenched Antitank Gun x20 PAK 38

As many others here, the units I have more than enough of is those in the anti-tank department, be it Bazookas, PTRDs or Panzerfausts... Though none of the crazy numbers some of you have though! Also some of the commander units, such as Wehrmacht Oberleutnant, I have more of than I would ever need.
From the time when opening boosters was a thing, I also remember me and a friend both complaining to each other that we got Brixia Mortars all the time The numbers were probably not as bad as it felt, though arguably, having one Brixia Mortar is more than enough.
