These kits came in yesterday. 2 Jacks and 1 Frank.
The manual is at the back side of the box.
Box contents: two white sprues, one small clear plastic sprue (cockpit glass) and one sheet of simple decals. No yellow lightnings (as depicted on the box cover), just a couple of red suns and some lettering.
I'll keep you updated on any progress in constructing the three craft.
The model is nice and detailed. Rotating propeller, tiny guns, antenna, wheels, drop tank. The guns are glued together parts from both the upper and lower wings halves. This makes the tiny rods quite sturdy. The quality of the plastic is quite good, but the finished model is nowhere near as durable as the WotC models.
I will use this model with the newly created average Jack interceptor card. The second Jack will be constructed without the drop tank, so it can be coupled with the veteran card.
Comparing size with different WotC craft shows that it is in the same 1/100 scale, although the fuselage looks a lot more bulky. I don't think that is all contributable to the actual aircraft design.
Look how stubby the wings are compared to the body, though.
I'm afraid this has to do with projection issues of the pictures I made; the first picture of the assembled Jack does a better job in showing wing length than the second picture does. The wing length is actually quite okay IMO.
When the first layer of paint is applied to the model, I'll post new pictures which will show the wings from a different angle.
