True, I was extremely lucky (the NC in particular). Perhaps we should do a Battle of Midway match sometime, except with the IJN also possessing Shokaku and Zuikaku, but the US have Saratoga in addition to their three carriers.

I'm still reading through the rules, and I'd definitely like a rematch. I also really enjoyed playing on the larger map, and would definitely like to use another one for our next game.

Savo and Surrounds looks really interesting.

Btw, expect a batrep for this game.

I will probably post a link to the PDF in the General Discussion section (once I finish writing it). I thought this was a very interesting game, although I was really frustrated by my absolutely unbelievable torpedo rolls. I would really like to play another game with the same factions and points on a different map (IMO, the larger map with the carrier houserules was actually pretty balanced; I just needed to roll more sixes).

Sounds good. Perhaps a large 500 point '43 battle? We can lower Hellcat VA to 9 if you like, but I'm not the biggest Hellcat fan, same goes for Helldiver. Too pricey for me

I would play a 500 point battle, but only on a large map with regular stacking limits. We could do '43 but '42 is, IMO, the most balanced year for Pacific games, and since it's the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Midway, just seems more thematically appropriate.

I do prefer 300, though.

Or do you want to do 500?
