USS Watertown: A "what-if" conversion of an Omaha class cruiser into an aviation-cruiser. I got the idea from a custom sprite from the game 'NavyField'. The Phoenix was my take on the same ship in World of Warships, essentially a prototype for the Omaha class.
I converted a spare Wasp into the USS Ranger. The Ranger is my favorite carrier of the WWII, she had an amazing service history despite her limitations as a Fleet carrier.
My take on what an Alaska class "large cruiser" would look like if converted into an aircraft carrier. The planned USS Puerto Rico was canceled in 1943, in favor of more Essex class carriers. This ship was actually one of several conversions I've made using the Alaska.
Tried my hand at making some custom islands using sculpey, styrene, and model railroad grass, alongside some bits and pieces I've lifted off spare war at sea ships during my conversions.
