Sorry, I've been really distracted with things for the past week.
And this is another area that it appears rules needed to be clarified. Basically the ship moves occur over the space of 6 hours, but it was a bit more ambiguous for the planes in the rules, which are worded to make it sound like the planes basically move instantly, which is dumb. Based on the average cruising speed of a carrier aircraft at the time, about an hour and a half should pass for each of the six spaces moved, so the round trips that we made would take about 3 hours. However, having gone at 14 knots, both of our carrier groups were still in their original squares when the opposing aircraft arrived. (and my ships sailed directly into your airstrike lol)
So it'll be an airstrike on both of us. I'll put the map for my units so you can do your attack first.
I think both of my airstrikes show up. The carrier planes should be slightly to the west of my land-based air.
A6M2 "Zeke", D3A, B5N2 in J-1. This air strike proceeds across the J-sectors to J-19, then I-20 -> I-12 -> I-22 - Enterprise and Atlanta.
G4M, Ki-43 in F-1. This air strike proceeds across the F-sectors to F-23, then turns right to fly straight down the 23-column to attack Salt Lake City.
The H6K you sent up also goes through every sector that the task force does, so you can have that up for shadowing purposes and whatnot (or an attack, I suppose)
My air defense
Atlanta -> Kate upWVJYqq8d6 Atlanta -> Val 8d6
Enterprise -> (Kate, then Val, if either survives, Zeke if neither) 8d6
Salt Lake City -> G4M 6d6
(The G4M reminded me to say that among the "once per game" SA's that should be used more than once per game of this campaign, alternate payload is definitely one of them, so you can use that whenever)8d6·8d6·8d6·6d6
Atlanta aborts the Val, and Enterprise aborts the Kate. The Val will Press the Attack on Enterprise. PtA roll ESaxkgF11d6 Bombing attack if successful 9d6 -1/die
Salt Lake City misses the G4M. The G4M's flight path went over Gwin. Does Gwin get an AA shot? I'll roll the G4M's attack. 2d6 1d6·9d6·2d6
