One of the last protected cruisers. Chacabuco was launched in 1898 and depended on sundivision and deck armour for protection. Maintained in good condition, she was rearmed between the wars. Replacing old mixed armament for uniform 6" guns. Surviving the war she broken up from 1959 onwards

I don't think specifying the old armament is necessay, but we certainly can if you want. I did rewrite that part of the text to try to make it a little more clear.
