Hahahhaha, sorry it's just so f*cking hype. I've been playing w@s since Flank speed came out I must have been 8 years old when I started playing. I'm now 19 and it's truly amazing. I dont intent to step on anyone's toes. I just want to keep w@s alive as it is probably the strongest tool of the mid 2000's involved in the teaching of history. For if it was not for w@s I would no nothing of the greatest conflict in history. It is my duty to not only the child inside me but as the historian I have grown into to try and teach history to the future generations of youth and adults alike. Unlike video games w@s is a game where my grandpa a vet of the german occupation 1953-55 and myself can play on fair terms. I will not ever be able to play my grandfather in world of war ships, however he can still vital my Montana.
I am a land gamer but the land game suffered as much or even more from WotC's poor decisions on marketing etc. They could have done it right to start, correct scale vehicles & maps, the omission of many units, the scale change lost a lot of people to the game & then Magic, the Realm was the finish, only need a card, not a card & a miniature....CHA-CHING.... These are fun games that should be kept alive, the land game is lotsa fun & needs new blood as do all the games really so let's all do our best to keep them alive & enjoy them, share them & try to get new people into our world of Plascticrack enjoyment!

That's I maine reason I'm trying to drive this deal. I'll make sure to give updates when I have more info.
There are many cards that people made over the years for units for the land game, what would be great is to find a source of pieces, painted would be great but there are some painters on the forum, but the pieces is what the land game needs.
it is fun to recreate those battles we read about with our armies/fleets or to just move some pieces, roll some dice with friends & have some good times with our toys..
This is an interesting phenomenon that hasn't just been limited to W@S - the NYT had an article recently talking about how the market for all sorts of collectibles has skyrocketed as people ran out of things to spend money on during the pandemic:
