Hmmmm.... how about USN vs IJN, '42, 400 points? As for the map, Savo or Deathmatch seem really fun.
Also, I'd be open to using custom cards this round. Makes for some very interesting games.

So offical cards, Team cards, my cards & SWO's cards?
Preference on sides?
I'm assuming you want a day game. How about squalls?
Sounds good. I'll play the IJN again, I suppose, since I played the USN in our last big map game. '42?
Also, I'm all for squalls.

'42 works. Are you sure you wanna do 400? The stacking limit changes to 3 ships / 5 planes at 500, not 400. But it's up to you!
I like the idea of the increased stacking limit, but I dont think the rules are well tested for it. For example: under standard limits, you can have two Atlanta CLs in a sector, making four 8 dice AA attacks. In 5pp pt. games, you could have three of them making six attacks, exceeding the plane stacking limit. Let me know if I've missed something.

No, that's true. Of course, that just means a smart player will send his planes somewhere else and let his surface forces crush the (relatively weak) Atlantas...
I've played many 500 point games with the increased limit. It works, but it's up to you. You get to add one ship and one plane over "normal".
Of course Close Escort SAs break that limit, but you know what I mean.

Alright, let's do 500. I find that game size FAR more exciting in all honesty :-D. I'll start working on a build in the morning.
