I was one of those that voted for Supermarine Walrus, but after reading the thread and all the negative feedback about the unit. Got me thinking of past public votes I have done towards the Forumini decks and made me re-evaluate what choices I should make in the future and if I could go back in time. Change some of my votes.

They also didnt want a process entirely decided by the hierachy...
I’m not saying that the entire deck should be selected this way.
I’m saying the project management should step in when they see a mistake happening and prevent a unit that shouldn’t be made. A lack a leadership is why we have so many units in the game that shouldn’t be there.
with the resistance to a correction on this unit leads me to ask who’s pet project is this?

That kind of attitude is unhelpful. The decks thus far have succceeded because they have catered to a broad range of interests. There are no 'mistakes' unit selection is a very serious business

We shall see. If the Walrus is unplayable, then IMO, it was a mistake... although I really believe there is no way to make it a playable unit compared with what the UK has already...

Texasarcher makes a decent point. At this stage so much has been added to the game that units mostly are being added so that people can play them for what ifs. The Walrus wasn’t exactly what I would define as a “special” or “successful” aircraft.
