Heavy Hammering in the North Atlantic breakout

Our group of six individuals met for are normal Monday night game and it was a good game of WaS. The scenario was 1941, daylight, 150 points each player, breakout into the North Atlantic. I had the HMS Warspite, 8 Javenin Class DD’s, and 1 CV with 2 A/C Squadrons. I lost all 8 DD’s and both my A/C squadrons and took only one hit on Warspite.
With an opening salvo at Range 6 caused 15 hits against the SMS Gneisenau. The next turn HMS Warspite main battery struck again and at Range 3 and caused 14 hits against the SMS Admiral Graf Spee. Bismark went down under the heavy fire from HMS Rodney. Overall it was a British win. The dice were hot last night at least for me.
