So, since you are thinking Pegasus Bridge, are you building a stripped down Pegasus Bridge?
Hello! I've asked a vendor in the UK, and Gaming models to create a 15mm Pegasus bridge. I can make a 3" version as well. I hope to spend some time generating some interest for the 74th and 75th anniversary of D-day.
here's the new castings of bridges for a 2" hex map, and a 3" hex ,map (OR open gaming!!). First round of painting, and other pieces are being molded as I type! This is a AAM 3" hex map. The smaller bridges are designed for a 2" hex. Painting options are red or gray at this point. These were crafted, mold constructed, and painted by me. Questions, comments, suggestions???
The Hedgerow hexes are a Version 1. The Treed lined hexes and stand alone pieces are a Version 2. I believe Snipperly had something with the LOS if the infantry was exposed from one side and not the other. This also may have been from a Baron's map we played MANY years ago. You could also House Rule the Panzer in a Forest Hex, or exposed to the bazooka with a straight line of sight. Everything else behind the hedgerows would have some cover. For game play...the larger vehicles and artillery pieces wouldn't sit flat in the hedgerow hex. One other game issue. On the flip side...it does look nice IMHO
SECOND ATTEMPT! Bronekater river attack boat. There are many versions of this boat...this main one with Rocket Launchers! I need to figure out some stats for this, but I think it can be involved in a scenario or 6! The boat was designed to fit in two hexes at about 5.5 inches long. The turrets rotate, but need some detailing. The turrets are from Gaming Models- Thanks to Craig. These are cast in hydrostone. I sculpted the boat, and for game play...it's not that bad...I think! Questions, comments, suggestions???
