I am looking to see if anyone has existing house rules set limiting ship movement without refuelling. So you would need Tankers, Oilers or a slip into port to keep movement going.
Usually Destroyers or some Cruisers and old Battleships would be the most limited while Carriers like Enterprise, Essex class and battleships like Iowa would not be limited.
The game duration and map/square size is not all that compatible with concept but maybe someone has worked out a playable rule set?
