I think that concludes my air defense phase.

Well, I guess I forgot to call out that I was using Divide. You got the abort with Cossack 1 on Nell A and Renown aborted one of the 97s, which leaves the 97 with Veteran Bombers and 6 armor. So the destroyer missed and the Martlet didn't get an abort either with 5 successes (Escort from the Oscar makes the 4s not count).
You do still have Nizam 5 (crippled) against Emily though.

Just forget Nizam 5's attack. Can I start my surface?

I have a question:
Since T-1 is crippled, it gets -1 to its torpedo attack rating. However, it has an inherent attack stat of 1 so it cannot be reduced. The special ability "Better Part of valor" gives it +1 against BBs. Does that mean it still rolls to attack die against Nagato?

You add all the bonuses and subtract all the penalties, then the minimum is one. I did the same for I-19 with harassment. So for you it would be 1 base torpedo, minus 1 for crippled, plus 1 for the SA. You get 1 torpedo.
